This study examines the role of AI-driven tools in medical writing, focusing on workflow optimization, content accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Through a global literature review of 34 studies, it evaluates AI’s impact on literature screening, systematic reviews, and clinical study reporting. Findings highlight AI’s ability to enhance efficiency—reducing manual workload by 64% and improving literature curation speed by 45%—while maintaining scientific rigor. However, challenges such as contextual inaccuracies and ethical concerns necessitate a hybrid AI-human approach to ensure precision, transparency, and compliance in medical communications.
